Exercises for dental professionals

Stretch the neck muscles on both sides.

Stretch the upper neck muscles. This is very important because many dentists tend to drop their chin when looking down. With this stretch you can get rid of headaches caused by tight muscles.

Stretch the forearm.

The muscles in the forearm get tensed when you grip the instruments tightly. Rotate your forearm inward as far as possible. Turn the palm towards you and stretch it more by carefully pulling the palm towards you with the other hand.

Stretch the side muscles.

Stretch the back and shoulders.

Stretch the whole backside.

Rotate your shoulders, to relaxing them and to increase circulation.

Activate the upper back muscles, which tend to get weak and tight when you work in a hunched position.
